Towards the Optimal Experience in the Metaverse!

Human Factors & Metaverse Lab was established in March 2023 at Kangwon National University. Our primary focus is on improving Extended Reality (XR) products, systems, and environments—including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR)—by considering human factors. Additionally, our lab is open to any human factors research as long as it falls within the Metaverse domain. • 2024.05.09   Prof. Woojoo Kim has officially joined the Graduate School of Data Science at Kangwon National University. 

• 2024.04.25   A new research project, 'Construction of an inertial motion capture system for human factor and AI-based UX prediction of spatial user interfaces', has been funded for the Young Scientist Infrastructure Support Grants! (₩105M, 1 year)

• 2024.04.24   A new research project, 'Human factor and AI-based UX prediction of spatial user interfaces', has been funded for the Outstanding Young Scientist Grants! (₩160M/year, 3 years)

• 2024.04.15   One paper has been accepted for oral presentation at IEA 2024.
